As king I like to put my talents to work by writing wisdom literature-thousands of proverbs, parables, songs, and poems. I wrote a collection of proverbs as godly advice to young men and women. For more about the book of Proverbs click here I wrote the Song of Solomon, which is a poem about my love for my bride. It also pictures God's love for us. I wrote Ecclesiastes to discuss some of the frustrations of life and explain why things sometimes seem meaningless. It seems the more we pursue power, wealth, or pleasure, the more unhappy we are.
