Title : EYE BATTLE Ver 1.0
Filename : EYEBATTL.RTC
Author : Mark L. Wiens
Email Address : Compuserve 74461,1525
Misc. Author Info : President, EYE & I Productions
Description : These are 7 multi-player battles created here at our
location to give our employees and myself a chance to
relieve the pressures of the work day. We set the game
length to a score of 11. This way they last for less
than 30 min. and sometimes for only 10!
It's not often you get to blast your boss with a
wall-o-flame and have him come back smiling!
They are fun, fast & deadly... even for 2 players!
Game descriptions are as follows;
FUSION - Think of this as a plasma fusion generator with everything
focused towards the center. The good weapons are all in the
center... So are the explosions. For 2 to 4 players.
FUSION QUAD - This is 4 of the above Fusion layouts tied together.
Better for more players.
BATTLE MASTER - This game will leave you breathless.
For 2 to 4 players this is mass destruction. Jump in the
middle to get the good weapons. If you kill your opponent with
a drunkmissle & he dies...if there are any missles that didn't
hit him, they will circle around in the middle until he comes
alive then track and hit him again! Includes 2 gas switches & masks.
THE NEW ONE - This one was based on the game strategy and playability of a level
called Fort Courage created by Todd Aubin & his son in his aubin1.rtc
comm-bat level [file TODD1RTC.ZIP]. It is completely original, but
I tried to keep the same level of excitement and flow, and made it
a bit larger plus a few surprizes. Good for 2 or more players.
SNAIL PRO - Is a level which starts all players at the center and spirals
ever outward (like a snail shell), with better weapons as you
go, until you reach the end opening which has the most weapons.
The object would be to maintain control of the opening, however,
it's fun to go back down the spiral and surprize your opponent.
There are touchpads at the beginning which open doors at the end
which contain shields, so when you kill an opponent, they will be
started back at the beginning and will pass over one or other of
the touchpads, giving you a chance to grab a shield near the end
opening, making you even more powerful!
Good for 2 or more players.
SPACE STATION - The design is based on a typical space station, with halls crossing
thru the center and a ring around the outside. It's better with 3 or
more players.
STAR SKY
TRI CASTLE - Is a larger level than the ones above. Lots more stuff and
full of surprizes. You start off in a section which contains
three castles which you can bounce up to and shoot across to
your opponents who are on their castles. Included are an elevator,
transport switches which take you back to the main three-castle
area, and best of all switche & touch-pad controlled fireballs which
you can use as weapons to get your opponent while he's busy tryin'
to get you. Better with 3 or more players.
Note: We play these games over a network. One thing we have found that
makes playing more interesting (and possibly quicker) is that
during game play we have our inter-office intercoms turned on,
such that along with being able to converse directly with our
opponents (or cursing them should we get caught be surprize),
we are also able to hear their sound. So if we shoot a missle
in their direction or they are standing near objects like
firejets etc., we can get an idea where they are by the sound
we hear coming thru their speaker. It adds a bit of excitement,
and keeps you on the ball.
