  1. RASOCX11.EXE (RAS.OCX) is a full 32 bit OLE Control for use with OLE containers 
  2. such as Visual Basic, Access, etc. It provides enhanced access to 
  3. Remote Access Service (RAS) and/or Dial-up Networking functionality
  4. found in Windows 95 and Windows NT.

  6. This version is a fully upward compatible upgrade to version 1.0. New
  7. in version 1.1:
  8.  
  9. - support for Finnish, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish versions. It
  10.   uses the locale id in your PC's registry, so you do not have to 
  11.   do anything to support its use.  Foreign language support is available
  12.   in the Properties, Methods (functions), and Event names and where
  13.   applicable, argument names.  The custom property pages are also
  14.   localized.  Error messages and the splash screen (in unregistered
  15.   version) are localized, and where supported (Spanish and German for
  16.   now) localized MFC resources are also used.

  18. - Help has been upgraded to provide programming examples for Access 95
  19.   and a whole list of frequently asked questions.

  21. - This version no longer requires a .LIC file to run. You can use this
  22.   fully functional evaluation version as shareware for evaluation, or
  23.   register it through setup and make it a registered version.
  24.   Registered users of version 1.0 need only enter their registration
  25.   information (serial number, etc.) during setup to use 1.1.

  27. - EntryName property is now a default property.  Instead of doing
  28.     RAS1.EntryName = "MyServer"
  29.   which still works, you can just say
  30.     RAS1 = "MyServer"

  32. - We have significantly upgraded our setup program to not only support
  33.   the languages noted above, but more completely support Windows 95 and
  34.   Windows NT standards.

  36. Anyone registering either version 1.0 or 1.1 will receive version 2.0
  37. for free, which will include many enhancements for Dial-Up Networking
  38. being introduced with NT 4.0!

  45. how to order the registered product for $80 (this is shareware).  
  46. This version has all functionality with the addition of a splash 
  47. screen that comes up when the control is loaded (this splash screen 
  48. does not show on the registered version).
