  1. System requirmentts:
  2.       OS: Windows 95 or Windows NT.  WSGopher32 will not work with WIN32s.
  3. Hardware: IBM Compatible capable of running one of the above OS's, modem.
  4.    Other: Network capability such as TCP/IP or RAS.

  6. Whats New:
  7.     The current beta version is a 32 bit implementation designed to work
  8. with Windows 95 or Windows NT.  It has some new features to simplify
  9. navigating gopher menus.  Most notable is the new heirarchical interface.
  10.  
  11.     The hierarchical interface has been added since gopher shows a
  12. structured hierarchy of information.  This makes navigation much easier.  Some features were
  13. eliminated because they no longer make sense with the new interface.  Those same tasks
  14. and now accomplished by simply selecting the appropriate location in the directory tree.

  16. Know Problems:
  17.     There are a few problems to watch out for in this BETA release:
  18. 1. The find feature is not yet working.  This will be fixed very soon,
  19. 2. When the home gopher first comes up the directory items display in the right hand view
  20.    correctly.  However if you select another directory item in the left hand view, and
  21.    then select the home hopher item at the top again it will not reload the home gopher
  22.    directory items again.  This is related to the find problem and is being worked on.
  23. 3. On-line help is not yet completed.
