  74. This package contains TasPhoto, a Photo-CD viewer and organizer, by
  75. Tasman Software.  This document contains only a brief description of
  76. the package and its features, along with instructions for its
  77. installation.

  79. If you ever take photographs then check out Photo-CD and TasPhoto. When
  80. you have a film processed ask for a Photo-CD. Many film processors now
  81. offer Photo-CD in addition to prints or slides. A single CD will hold
  82. over 100 photographs - you can take your CD back with your next film to
  83. have your new photographs added.

  85. TasPhoto brings captured moments to life on your screen. With TasPhoto
  86. you can

  88. * Create shows of the photographs on your Photo-CD's
  89. * View your shows
  90.   * one photograph at a time filling the screen (this is like having 10x8
  91.     inch prints at a fraction of the cost).
  92.   * up to 16 photographs at once at smaller sizes

  104. you may have paid to others(disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this

  132. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  133. TasPhoto.

  135. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTE
  136.  
  137. To install from diskette, you need to perform the following steps.
  138.

  141. 1. In Program Manager select File then Run...
  142. 2. In the "Command Line" box type:
  143.    A:INSTALL  (or B:INSTALL)  and click O.K.
  144.

  147. 1. Select Run... from the Start button.
  148. 2. In the Open box of the Run window type:
  149.     A:INSTALL  (or B:INSTALL)  and click O.K.

  151. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE

  153. If you downloaded TasPhoto from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  154. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  155. following steps.

  157. 1. Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  158.    directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  159.    varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  160.    In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  161.    that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  162.    perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  163.    directions for this from the same source from which you received
  164.    the package.

  166. 2. Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program which you have extracted.  For
  167.    example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  168.    TasPhoto is C:\TEMPDIR, you would do:
