  7. 1992        - The latest known version of FileManager I, ver 1.2.5 is released.
  8.  
  9. May 1996    - I decide to rewrite this wonder, to support more modern features
  10.               like RAR-support, Win95 long filenames, extended sys-, file- and
  11.               driveinfo etc.

  13. August 1996 - Here we go...!
  14.  
  15. 0.1  - First public release. Of course a lot of bugs, but all in all it runs!
  16.        Known bugs: LongFileNames not fully implemented everywhere
  17.                    Archive operations sometimes do not work. Report!

  19. 0.15 - A lot more stable.
  20.        LFN better implemented, still work to do.
  21.        Completely rewritten KeyBoard-unit, now I can do what I want...
  22.        ArchiveWork works much better.
  23.        Changed the name to FileManager Pro, only very few people knew what
  24.           version 1 was anyway.

  26. 0.49 - Now really, really stable.
  27.        LFN almost everywhere... Very almost. ;-)
  28.        Now it's here, the internal editor! Not very advanced, but works with 
  29.        unlimited filesizes! Reduced size of FM.EXE with almost 70kb! Nice, TV.
  30.           Please tell me which keystrokes you want in here.
  31.        Archive-operations now works much better.
  32.        General optimizing and cleanup. And suddenly a lot of bugs disappeared.

  34. 0.69 - 40% of the code completely rewritten, now easier to debug and extend.
  35.        LFN implemented everywhere (almost...)
  36.        Bugfixes, of course a lot in the editor.
  37.        MAJOR ADD: archives now treated completely as directories! Except for
  38.                   moving and copying between archives... Maybe coming...

  40. 0.79 - Bugs fixed, BMP support (Info and Viewing)
  41.        ARJ and LZH support still partial, coming.

  43. 0.80 - ARJ and LZH support removed. Caused so much trouble, not as flexible
  44.        as ZIP/RAR. Use an external program, if you insist!

  46. 0.81 - FindFile now works, some bugfixing and optimization. Still having a bit
  47.        of trouble with the Move-command, should work most of the time. Official

  50. 0.92 - A lot of optimization! Up to 100% faster under some circumstances!
  51.        Label support. DiskInfo (F3 and S) now works in tree view, too. Added
  52.        a Random Rim (danish for small poem with rhyme) page for danish users.

  56. 0.95 - Optimization at it's best!!! VERY much faster in very common situations
  57.        (like list a directory, anyboy use that feature ? ;-)). Of course a lot
  58.        of bugs vanished at the same time

  60. 0.99 - I cannot remember all the changes and bugfixes done this time, but
  61.        here are some of them :
  62.           - You can now view a text file in one console and change to
  63.           another to browse a directory, or view another file...
  64.           - You can define seperate ZIP and Rar programs for Win95.
  65.           - All external programs can be set to run as a minimized
  66.           background-task under Win95.
  67.           - Whole filesystem rewritten in assembler, now faster, more
  68.           stable.
  69.           - First try at a quake-launcher.
  70.           - Smaller executable.
  71.           - You can now create a directory in dirview (insert)
  72.           - Move actually works!
  73.         And a lot more!

  75. 1.00 - HERE WE GO!
  76.        Some changes:
  77.          - Many bugs fixed in the editor, now text doesn't suddenly disappear
  78.          - Now _only_ works with the bundled ZIP and UNZIP, supports Win95 LFN
  79.          - Removed internal GIF and BMP viewer, didn't work properly.
  80.          - Added SPLIT and CONNECT in UtilsMenu
  81.          - Many new features in FM.INI including Definitions, Colors etc.
  82.         There are probably still bugs, but the worst should be over!

  84. 1.01 - Fixed some things in Split and Collect
  85.      - Some minor cosmetic details

  87. 1.10 - Several fixes and enhancements:
  88.         * Smarter support for UNIX-type textfiles
  89.         * Full expands in the tree can now be breaked, sigh...
  90.         * Once again most of the filesystem was rewritten, now fully supports
  91.           network-drives, and is a bit faster.
  92.         * Some bugs in the editor was fixed, I'm actually trusting it now!
  93.         * Registration Key is now supported, UNREG isn't too annoying ;-)

  95. 1.11 - Fixed some bugs, appearing in old DOS mode, please report if you find
  96.        other. 
  97.      - You can now change the sorting method...
  98.  
  99. 1.20 - Added more sorting methods
  100.      - Now supplied with FMGIF, FMBMP and FMFLI.
  101.      - Therefore internal FLI-playing is removed...
  102.  
  103. 1.21 - Fixes yet another bug in the Editor, embarrasing...
  104.      - Sorting Method can now be chosen in the ConfigFile, too.
  105.  
  106. 1.22 - First release on SimtelNet
  107.  
  108. 1.25 - Smarter action on drive errors (IMHO, anyway)...
  109.      - Rewritten picture-viewers, and added FMPCX
  110.      - Some minor bugfixing
  111.  
  112. 1.28 - More minor bugfixing, FAT32 supported correctly.
  113.      - I still have reports on malfunction on some types of non-Win95-networks
  114.        can anyone confirm this?
