  6.   To play an audio CD in Windows 3.1

  10.   Windows 3.1 
  11.   CD-ROM with MCI drivers (control panel)
  12.   Audio CDs

  14. Installation:
  15.  
  16.   Unzip the cdplay.zip file
  17.   Copy the cdplay.exe and cdplay.hlp files to a directory of your choice
  18.   Go to Windows' Program Manager and create a new program item
  19.   Brouse for the cdplay.exe file and select it
  20.  
  21. Execution:

  23.   Have an audio CD driver in MS Control Panel
  24.   Double click on the newly created icon
  25.   My applet will create a cdplay.ini file in your Windows directory
  26.   (if it does not exist yet)

  28. Recommendations:

  30.   You should name this applet "CD Player"
  31.   Mail me a postcard if you like this program! :-)

  33. Uninstalling:

  35.   Delete the cdplay.ini file in your Windows directory
  36.   Delete the cdplay.hlp and cdplay.exe files

  50. 26/6/94  Fixed it for SCSI CDROM drive on Adeptec controller - didn't respond
  51.          or play from the seeked position.
  52.          Fixed it for screen drivers that use funny caption heights, in
  53.          particular XGA in OS/2 - the about author dialog is still wacko though!
  54.          Added current track and entire CD length display when left or right
  55.          mouse button hits on the LED counter.
  56.          Added secret text at the CD tm display.
  57. 26/6/94  Considering to redo all MCI commands with MCI structs.
  58.          Add minute jump? ie user type 05 to jump to 5 min. If the track is only
  59.          2 min then it will jump to 2. Lots of work, so I'll just sleep on it.
  60. 27/6/94  Fixed subtle display bug when user switches from random to normal mode.

  62. 6/7/94   Considering to add autoplay upon applet startup.
