JP - Joe's Player, Version 1.0, (c) 1993 by Jochen Willinghoefer
JP is a SHAREWARE sound file player for WIN 3.1.
It plays WAV, AU files, stereo files on mono cards and 16 bit files on
a 8 bit sound card without extra converting.
For soundcards without hardware volume JP support a software
volume system. Sound files are played in multi-time-buffers.
So JP can play sound files which are greater than the memory.
JP has a very fast scope and a very fast sound converting system.
A lot of functions are written in high opmtimzed assembler.
You can organize your sound files with JP in UNITS (like CD'S).
Minimum hardware: 386SX 20Mhz 2MB Ram, soundcard (no PC-speaker support).
Efficient hardware: 386DX 40Mhz 4MB Ram, soundcard (no PC-speaker support).
