Welcome to WinTalk! This file contains last-minute information, new
features, and bugs fixed. The file WINTALK.DOC contains installation
and usage information.

PCTCP USERS:
Please make sure you are running winsock v1.12beta or later!
(1.12 is available at vax.ftp.com:/support/winsock/beta/wsbeta.exe)
TRUMPET USERS:
Please make sure you are running v1.0 dated 2/2/94 or later!
(latest version is on petros.psychol.utas.edu.au)
PC/NFS USERS:
I know about the ENETDOWN(#10050) bug, and am working with Sun to
track it down. More info to alt.winsock as I make progress.

NEW FEATURES IN THIS RELEASE
----------------------------
o "Visual" window-style configuration (orientation / font / !colors!)
o Remote auto-wrap with auto-detect of another WinTalk
o Multiple rings (replays sound + focuses announce dialog)
o Icon talk windows automatically restore and focus when connection completes
o Configurable "disabled" result - "not logged in" or "refusing messages"
BUGS FIXED IN THIS RELEASE
--------------------------
* Default background colors should be palatable (palettable...? :))
* Timeout (no answer) no longer produces errors on closing window
* Full sound pathname is now stored
* Spaces no longer allowed in username entry
* Compiled with bigger stack, which avoids Trumpet "TCP Poll Reentrancy"
* GDI resource allocation bug cleaned up
* Error boxes (#10038) no longer appear when a talk times out
* Talk window disappears after timeout failure
