Box Hill has been a very popular spot for people to visit for many years. It is very easy to get to, and even has a road running through it giving very easy access to visitors in cars. On a sunny summer day, many hundreds of people may be found on just a small area of the hill. The main areas on which people can be concentrated are the visitor centre, shop and toilets, and the viewpoint about five minutes walk away. The cafe, shop and visitor centre at Box Hill help the Trust to generate money for conservation.
