Worldclock is an application for the Series3 that shows three separate clocks. You can change the titles of the clocks to reflect whatever you want. The times of each clock can also be set independently to reflect differing time zones.
Installing WorldClock
Place Worldclk.OPA in any OPA or APP directory in Internal memory or on either drive A: or B:. When you first run it, a small file (which does not grow in size) is placed in the OPD directory on internal memory. This file is called Worldclk.DAT. If you want to save this file elsewhere you MUST change the Worldclk.OPL file and retranslate it.
Changing The Worldclk.OPL file
Open Worldclk.OPL from the square OPL Icon. Make sure the cursor is right at the start of the listing. Press Psion R or select Replace from the Scan menu.
When the Replace dialog is shown enter M: as the string to search for. Enter either A: or B: as the string to replace.This will change the drive used to either A or B. Keep the direction as Forwards and the Case Sensitivity to No. Press Enter.
The window then shows a dialog prompting you to choose an action. Press A for change All occurrences of this string. A message should tell you that there were 7 occurrences of the string M: and it was replaced 7 times by whatever you put in to replace it.
Making You New Worldclk into an Application.
Make sure the file Clock.PIC is in a directory called PIC on internal memory. Translate the modified Worldclk.OPL making sure the following lines do not have REM before them
APP Worldclk rem set up for icon
TYPE 1 rem set file type
ICON "M:\PIC\CLOCK.pic" rem put the clock.pic(icon) in a directory called PIC on M:
ENDA
After translating you will be told ÒTranslation completeÓ. Press the ESC key.
Now if you look in your APP directory on whatever device you had the OPL on and you should find Worldclk.OPA. This can be installed as any other Application. Once you are satisfied that the Icon is OK, you can delete the file Clock.PIC from directory PIC on internal memory.
Using Worldclk.
Enter shows the time & title dialog.
Esc quits the program
