  7. Elements displays the periodic table of the elements.  Hitting enter
  8. on an element displays the properties of that element.  Arrow down
  9. and hit enter on Compounds to display data on the compounds of that
  10. element (left and right arrows will then change the compound).

  12. All the data was entered by hand (on several long train journeys) so
  13. there are probably mistakes, please let me know if you spot any.

  15. If anyone could supply chemical data in a machine readable format
  16. then I'd be grateful.

  18. To install it put ELEMENTS.OPO in the \OPO directory on any drive;
  19. put all the other files (except ELEMENTS.TXT) into the \OPO\ELEMENTS
  20. directory on the same drive (you will have to create this directory).

  22. Any ideas for an icon would be appreciated.

  29. Changes the temperature units (Celcius, Kelvin or Fahrenheit).

  31. Compounds
  32. Show the compounds of the highlighted element. For carbon the
  33. compounds are grouped.

  36. Toggles the display of the rare earth elements.
