Screen Capture for Sibo Machines
Description
~~~~~~~~~~~
This small program will take a snap shot of any screen on a Series 3
or HC computer and send it to an attached PC in .PCX format. The task
runs as a background task and beeps when the screen has been captured
and transfered.
Before running the program, you need to start the MCLINK program on the PC
and establish a connection between the Series 3 or the HC.
INSTALLATION - Series 3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Copy the SCAPT.IMG file to the \IMG directory on any SSD. If the RUNIMG icon
is not installed on you system window you will need to install it before you
can run the program. To install the RUNIMG icon you will need to be at the
system window; pressing the SYSTEM icon will take you there. Once at the
system window press PSION+J (INSTALL STANDARD) and select the RUNIMG filename.
You should now see the SCAPT filename under the RUNIMG icon.
INSTALLING - HC
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Simply copy the SCAPT.IMG file to any SSD on the HC.
RUNNING SCAPT.IMG - Series 3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before running the SCAPT.IMG program you should design your screens. Once
you are happy with them, switch back to the system screen and run the SCAPT
program then quickly switch to the application containing the screen you want
to be transfered. You have 10 seconds to make the application that contains
the screen the current application. You will be notified when the capture has
finished by a small beep. The name of the file that is sent to the PC is
SCREEN.PCX, so before capturing more screens you should rename this file on
the PC otherwise the SCAPT program will overwrite the file with the new image.
RUNNING SCAPT.IMG - HC
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just type SCAPT at the '$' prompt and then switch to the screen you want to
capture.
