Notice how each slide will stick around for a length of time or can be dismissed by pressing any key other than ESC, which of course exits the demo.

Notice also how smaller graphics are displayed automatically at the side of the text. Also notice the different way each slide is dismissed, with different types of wipe.

The pause after each slide can be set for individual slides, by specifying a number of seconds. This slide will persist for 10 seconds unless you hit a key first!

So, what use is SLIDE? Well, what about a rolling demo of one of your products? Or a way of sending staff out into the field with a briefing/info pack to scan through on their 3a on the plane.

The beauty of composing slide sequences this way is that the data can be entered within the standard DATA application, which you already know how to use.
