Resistor V1.0
---------------
Many electical hobbyists and even electronic engineers, after years
of training still have a mental block when it comes to calculating the value
of a resistor from its coloured bands.
Resisistor is a dialog based resistor calculator which will decipher
a resitor according to its colour codes and print its value and tolerance.
Installing Resistor
-------------------
Copy the "Resitor.app" file to your APP\ directory and install it by
with Psion-I in the system screen.
Using Resitor
-------------
On starting the program, a title screen will appear (with details of
where I can be reached by e-mail). Press any key to start the program.
A small icon of a resistor will appear, this has nothing to do with the
program but it fills up the rest of an otherwise empty screen.
4 dialogs will appear in order for the 4 bands of the resistor.
Use the left and right arrow keys to select the appropiate colour and a
dialog box will appear with the values of the resistance and tolerance.
Kit ENTER and you will be prompted if you wish to decode another resitor.
Pressing ENTER will take you back to the dialogs and hitting ESC will quit
the program.
Have fun,
Jim

Current projects:
Two player "tennis" type game
Unix C-Shell type command interpreter (like 3-dos)
I will post these to the Psion conference in CIX and to src.doc.ic.ac.uk
as and when they are completed.
