  5. The year is 2094 and the Earth's energy supplies have become virtually
  6. non-existent. The only supplies that can be found must be bought from black
  7. market traders at extortionately inflated prices. This is where you come in.
  8. You have been sent to a planet with a colony of 50 people to set up a land
  9. base. From there you will send ships and people to the moons surrounding
  10. this planet to construct mines and excavate the only metal ore in the galaxy
  11. that is now able to produce the power required by the population of Earth.
  12. You will be able to carry out one of six choices during each day that
  13. passes. These choices are explained below.

  15. 1 Oxygen - This allows you buy oxygen from earth to supply your land base.
  16. The oxygen must be kept at a reasonable level to stop people dying from lack
  17. of it.
  18.  
  19. 2 Build - You start the game with one un-loaded ship available for sending
  20. to the moons. The build option allows you to build more ships for this
  21. purpose.
  22.  
  23. 3 Load - This option will allow you to load any number of ships (provided
  24. that you have that many) with the items needed to go to one of the moons and
  25. set up a mine.
  26.  
  27. 4 Send - This option will allow you to send a number of your loaded ships to
  28. a moon to set up the mines. You must estimate the ammount of fuel required
  29. for the journey (HINT: not more than 20 per ship !!). If you do not allow
  30. enough fuel ships may become stranded during their journey and they will be
  31. lost thus making it necessary for you to build more ships.

  33. 5 Recover - Allows the un-loaded ships that you have, to be sent to the moon
  34. on which the mines are, to collect and return with ore. The fuel has to be
  35. estimated with results as above.
  36.  
  37. 6 Sell - You must at some point sell the ore that you have recovered to
  38. Earth. When you have sold enough you will be asked to take over another
  39. planet.

  41. Should you be in a situation where you wish to quit the game (you will be, I
  42. assure you !!) pressing all three mouse buttons together will achieve this.
