  23. The Digital CD application, is merely a wimp front end for the Digital
  24. Symphony play module, put together very quickly, due to many requests from
  25. various Public Domain Libraries, who now wish to replace their Tracker files
  26. with Symphony files, due to the superior audio quality, and compaction
  27. capabilities.

  29. If you are distributing this application in your PD library, please inform
  30. us, so that new versions of the module may be obtained.

  36. Just like Digital Symphony, this application is simplicity itself to use.
  37. Once !Digital CD is loaded, click on a Symphony file, or drag it to the
  38. baricon, or one of the !Digital CD windows to and play load it.

  40. The video style controls of the Control Panel, displayed by clicking on the
  41. baricon, give you complete control over the track. The volume can be
  42. adjusted by clicking on the (-) or (+) icons, and that really is about it.

  65. Digital Symphony, is an 8 channel sound sequencing package, based completely
  66. in the Risc Os Desktop environment. Digital Symphony, will allow the
  67. inexperienced user, to achieve stunning musical results due to it's easy to
  68. use nature, just like the Archimedes itself, but also offers a range of
  69. intricate, sophisticated facilities, making even the most experienced feel
  70. at home.

  72. In the past Soundtrack editors for the Archimedes, have merely imitated
  73. similar packages for such machines as the Amiga. Now Digital Symphony, is
  74. set to change this by offering new features, and effects, not possible using
  75. packages on any other home computer or even the Archimedes before now.

  77. Digital Symphony is the first and only Soundtrack editor, to have a
  78. playroutine, that will play ProTrackers, or Original SoundTrackers,
  79. absolutely 100% faithful, to how they were originally written. Other
  80. soundtrack play routines, do not fully implement the effects used by such
  81. packages, and therefore are not able to cope with some of the more
  82. sophisticated pieces of music, but this is not the case with Digital
  83. Symphony.

  85. Digital Symphony has a list of some 64 effects, which can be applied to an
  86. instrument, or sample in conjunction with each other, producing amazing
  87. results limited by the imagination alone, and allowing you to produce the
  88. exact effect that you require.

  90. Digital Symphony, is of course completely midi compatible, notes can be
  91. entered, into the track using, a keyboard, drum-pack, or any other midi
  92. compatible instrument, via means of a midi interface.

  95. track, in standard musical notation form as notes on a stave, in addition,
  96. to the usual sequencer pattern lists.
