  5. The compiler has some well designed subsystems in it.
  6. Unfortunately I kind of threw the top layers over it
  7. in too much of a hurry.

  9. But at least it works, and it is only a programmers tool.

  11. What I hope is that it will inspire someone to write a nice one.
  12. I don't really have the time for this, as I feel my time is better
  13. spent as an OPL 'facilitator' in areas of special interest to
  14. external developers.

  19. The source for this example is Helpxmpl.hlp
  20. I have chosen to put it in my OPD directory
  21. as that is a good place for all miscellaneous
  22. OPL resources.

  27. Series 3 Classic version
  28. This requires extensive system knowledge.

  30. XWIM version of compiler
  31. This would allow direct translation
  32. from the menu.

  34. Embedding tool for OPL
  35. This would allow resources to be stored
  36. in OPO and OPA files.
  37. Such a tool would need to add a proper
  38. signature to the resource file.

  41. You can use specially selected items from the
  42. main system help for inclusion in your index.
  43. The compiler currently does not allow this, but
  44. it may be a nice facility to add.
