2121 Racing Demo
----------------
Welcome to 2121 Racing. This is a demo of a game set in the future where
you must defeat another car in a race across a massive twisting track with
jumps and other obstacles to overcome.
The main menu
-------------
There are 8 different options from the main menu:
Play tape - The tape of the race currently in memory will be replayed.
Save tape - You will be asked to enter a file-name and the tape currently
in memory will be saved into the !Tracks application.
Load tape - You will be asked to enter a file-name and if there is a tape
of that name in the !Tracks application it will be loaded into memory.
Pick car - This will show a menu with two different cars that can be
selected (There are 4 in the full game). Each car has different values for
Acceleration, Top speed and Tyres.
Start game - You will play the race track against your opponent.
Time trial - This will let you practice the track and get used to it.
Load track - This is not available in the demo. In the full game this is
used to load in tracks created with the designer.
Quit - This will take you back to the desktop.
Racing
------
The race will start and finish at a black & white chequered area. Your aim
is to go through all the check points (shown by a black & yellow chequed
area). The recommended path is layed out in the ground that will lead you
to the next check point.
You can go at a faster speed for a short period of time if you go over a
red & yellow coloured area. There are many jumps in the race that you can
use to fly over rivers, trees, houses etc.
Tapes
-----
After you have raced, either by pressing "Start game" or "Time trial" then
the tape of you racing will be stored in memory. This can be saved into the
!Tracks file and re-loaded again when needed. If you are doing a time trial
and there is a tape currently in memory then it will be played while you are
racing. This will enable you to compare your performances.

6 more tracks.
3 difficulty levels.
