  27. We have tried to make "Pharaohs" as desktop friendly as 
  28. possible, but, due to the nature and size of the game, we do not 
  29. recommend that you run it with other applications resident - as a 
  30. precaution.

  32. 1MB users should use the !OneMeg application.

  34. 2MB users should *MANUALLY* Quit all applications 
  35.  
  36. PS. The game will work while applications are resident but you might 
  37. not get the best out of the sound effects or music, as there might not 
  38. be enough memory in the system for the game to work with all it's 
  39. potential.

  41. RiscPC and A7000 owners please use the !RpcRun Application, running
  42. this will enable you to have a Mode 49 screen, (Acorns official games mode.)

  47. This game is totally mouse controled.

  49. The basic idea of this game is to seek and rummage your way through the
  50. Pharaohs secret tombs, before your energy runs out.
  51.  
  52. Each time you discover one of these tombs your energy supply is replenished
  53. and your score will increase depending on the amount of energy used.

  55. At the end of each level you will be awarded a bonus score and an extra life.
  56.  
  57. There are many different options you can choose from to make this game more
  58. exiting.(Please click over the options Icon on the games main menu), for more
  59. details.

  119.      A platform game at heart which involves the main character leaping
  120.      from ledge to scrolling ledge while avoiding or obliterating, the
  121.      aliens which happen to get in your way. There's an energy meter that
  122.      drops throughout the level, and you have to replenish this as you 
  123.      progress by shooting blocks and collecting the energy tablets that
  124.      fall from them.
