Many moons ago, on a planet not so far away, a group of highly advanced beings became tired of all their highly advanced games...This sad state of affairs resulted in the creation of a new and amazing game... dun dun dah, (cheap attempt at a sound effect in case you were wondering!) This game was called

This game involved an amazing (a maze, get it? sic!) shifting maze, and numerous very expensive goodies to be collected (you know, the kind of things you get in crackers!)
I suppose your all itching to start playing this absolutely fabulous game? Well read on then....

!Tricky, is SHAREWARE. This means that after a trial period of two weeks, you must either delete the program and all it's assoicated files, or register the program. Registration costs the grand total of £5.00 sterling (Or more, if you feel it's worth it!). Please send this along with your Name, Address, Company or business name, email address. Right then now all the boring stuff's out the way, venture on to the extremely interesting details of how to play Tricky tiles...
How to play

Right the basic idea of the game is to collect all of the players tokens. To do this you must first of all move the maze to create a path that will enable you to collect the token you require, you are then allowed to move your piece around the maze.
The first player to collect all their tokens and then collect the blue crystal thing is the winner.
To start a new game click on the new game option, or to continue the present game click on start game.
How to move the maze

The current player will be flashing, and will also have a fast forward icon in there status box. Also shown in this box will be a tile which you have to place in the maze, this tile can be rotated and flipped by clicking on the icons next to it.
Once you are happy with the orientation of the tile, move the mouse pointer into the maze, and move it around the outer most tiles. You should see the pointer change between a hand and a arrow pointing in the way in which the maze will move.
If a player or token is on the piece which is pushed off of the maze, it will appear on the tile you just placed. This is very useful as it allows you to move your self to a completely different location in the maze.
How to move your piece

First all you MUST make sure you have moved the maze, once this is done all you have to do to move is click the mouse on an adjacent tile to move into it.
If you click <Menu> this will lift the tile that the pointer is over up, this is so you can see exactly which way it is possible to move on it.
If you land on a tile with one of your tokens on you will collect that token and your go will be finished.
If it is not possible for you to collect a token you may move your piece and then click on the fast forward icon and play will then pass to the next player.
The token's you have to collect are shown in you status box.
OK, What do the moons do?

The moons were added to make the game a bit more challenging (all though it is possible to disable them).
Basically players can not get past a moon that has been placed in the maze. The moons will last for a period of one go, ie until play has returned to you when this happens the moon will disappear.
It IS possible for a player to get past there own moon though.
The moons are useful for stopping a player from collecting a token by going along an easy route!
The game setup menu

In this menu are a number of options to change the setup of the game, these are detailed below:
Number of players : Fairly obvious I'd have thought
Start players : Again fairly obvious!
Moons : Enable or disable the use of moons
The players : Click on a player piece to toggle between computer/human player.
Tile distribution : This allows you to change the ratio of tile shapes. This effectively means you can make the game harder, by decreasing the number of t-pieces etc...
ARM Level : This allows you to set the playing level of the computer (This was added due to the fact a good friend of mine (Owain Cole, VOTI), kept on getting thrashed!!!
Click on the hand at the bottom of the screen to return to the main menu or press <Escape>

This allows control over the sound and music in the game. The options should all be self explanetory.
