  5. Custodian is an automatic file backup and retrieval system, for use with all Acorn computers with RISC OS 3.1 or greater.

  7. THIS IS ONLY A DEMO VERSION.  IT IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL, BUT ONLY ALLOWS THREE BACKUP FILES TO BE KEPT.  ANY ATTEMPT TO CREATE MORE THAN THREE BACKUPS PRODUCES A DIALOGUE BOX GIVING DETAILS OF HOW TO GET THE FULL VERSION.

  60. If you want to use an alternative file compression technique rather than Squash you will need to obtain the FULL version which comes with two small utilities to ensure Custodian will work with SparkFS and Compression.

  62. We recommend that you ONLY use squash compression on this demo.
