  7. This Program is a time saving utility.  It allows you to setup
  8. quick methods of running programs.  It does this by allowing
  9. the creation of bars just above the icon bar.  You can then 
  10. add files to these bars.
  11.  
  12. Simply that's it but there are more advanced features such as :
  13. The ability to sort the items
  14. The ability to create a series of submenus in the bars
  15. The ability to perform *commands instead of running a program
  16.  
  17. What to do....
  18. ==============
  19. Firstly run the program.
  20. This will show you the setup I have on my machine.  It has
  21. quite a few bars some with quite a few sub menus on.

  23. Once you have played with it simply copy the program to a
  24. hardisc or something that can be writable then delete the
  25. file PullDown inside the directory (Hold shift and double click
  26. if you don't know how to get inside)
  27. Alternatively you can delete each bar by following the below
  28. instructions then saving the data.

  32. Press select on any of the bars to bring up a menu of items.
  33. To run an object from the menu just click select on it.

  38. How do I add a new bar?

  40. Press Alt on the keyboard and Select on the main strip.
  41. Fill in the bars name and press return.

  43. How do I edit a bars' name?

  45. Press Alt and adjust on the bar you wish to edit.  Alter the
  46. name and press return.

  48. How do I bring up the bar control menu?

  50. Either press Alt+Menu on the bar or double click on the bar.

  52. How do I delete a bar?

  54. Bring up the bar control menu (See above) and select delete

  58. Bring up the bar control menu and select sort.

  60. How do I add a file to the bar?

  62. Drag the file to the bar on the strip.  The bar will be added
  63. either in the top or in a submenu of the bar. (See later)

  65. How do I edit a files' details?

  67. Bring up the bar menu with the file in and press Alt and
  68. Select on the file.  This will bring up the object editing
  69. window.
  70. Or bring up the bar menu with adjust and select the file.

  73. How do I delete a file?

  75. Bring up the object editing window and select delete.

  80. From the object information window any changes you make will
  81. not be made until you OK the changes.
  82. Selecting cancel will stop any changes from being made.

  84. The name and the path can be changed from this window.
  85. The object action allows you to set a different action than
  86. running the program when you select it.
  87. The normal setting is Filer_Run.
  88. If you set *Command then the object path will be the *command
  89. when you select it.
  90. Do nothing does literally this.  I use this for some sub menus
  91. when I don't want them to be run.

  93. The object type doesn't do anything at the moment.

  99. How do I create a sub menu or add to an existing sub menu?

  101. Bring up the bar control menu and go into the sub menu
  102. "Add under".
  103. Either select "Top" to add to the top menu or "Sub Item" to
  104. add to/create a sub menu.
  105. If you select "Sub Item" the bar menu will come up.  Select
  106. the item you wish to create under/add under.  The program
  107. will confirm this is what you wish to do then create it if
  108. necessary.

  110. How do I find out where any files will be added under?
  111. ======================================================
  112. Bring up the bar control menu and go into the sub menu
  113. "Add under".
  114. The bottom item which is greyed is the item any files
  115. will be added under.  It will either show (Top) or ("Item").

  118. How do I change the font type and size?
  119. =======================================
  120. I havn't got around to making an easy method of doing this
  121. yet.  The only way to do it is to edit the !Config file.
  122. The 1st line must be the font name and then 2nd line must
  123. be the font size (pt).
  124. If there isn't a file or the font can't be found then
  125. trinity.medium 12 pt will be used.
