  4. This program was written for Paul, 'cos he's a DTP freak who wants to be
  5. able to position his pointer nice and accurately.

  10. This program is copyright the author Michael J. Coe and may be distributed
  11. at no cost (except that for the media and postage - Anything over £1.80 is
  12. highly suspicious!!) so long as all the files remain intact and unaltered in
  13. any way. The unaltered bit does not apply to the Config file, which stores
  14. the users preferences. If anyone finds this program useful and wishes to
  15. send me money then I most certainly will not object!

  17. How to use Rat.

  20. Select on the icon toggles the mouse speed. (the icon is grey for fast and
  21. red for slow) Clicking adjust on the icon brings up the configuation
  22. dialogue box... Here the mousesteps for the fast and slow speeds can be set.
  23. OK will set these as current, Save will save them to a config file on disc
  24. and cancel will change nothing. If on loading Rat you get an error box
  25. wondering what has happened to the config file, then go inside the
  26. !Rat directory and double click on the ConfigGen BASIC program... This will
  27. generate a config file to allow the program to load.
  28. Also ctrl and left arrow will toggle the mouse speed providing that the
  29. application with the input-focus doesn't use this key-combination for
  30. something else.
