  8. If you use Risc Os 2, you will have to run the Sysmerge application to
  9. update your System resources. IF YOU USE RISC OS 3.10 OR LATER, YOU DON'T
  10. NEED TO DO THIS. THE FONTS ON THE DISC ARE FOR RISC OS 2 USERS ONLY.

  13. CardShop is an application which allows you to print out greetings cards in
  14. three sizes. You can print A5 and A6 cards and also an intermediate size.
  15. The intermediate size involves cutting and glueing the parts together,
  16. whereas the A5 and A6 sizes just require folding an A4 page into half or
  17. into quarters.

  22. There are four 'departments' in the Card Shop.
  23.  
  24. 1) The front of the card
  25. 2) The inside of the card
  26. 3) The envolope
  27. 4) The stamps.
  28.  
  29. These are accessed via the four icons at the top left of the main window.
  30.  
  31. The four icons at the bottom left are
  32.  
  33. 1) The save icon, This does not work in this demo version.
  34. 2) The scan disc icon. This will scan the disc in drive 0 for directories
  35. called 'borders' and 'pictures'. This works in the demo version, but you
  36. proably won't want to use it.
  37. 3) The set paths icon. This allows you to choose directories for your
  38. pictures and borders. The directories should contain draw files, or in the
  39. case of the pictures directory, sprites.
  40. 4) The rubbish bin. This clears your work in the current department.

  43. The icons along the top vary from department to department.

  45. 1) The Front of Card Department.

  48. There are five icons available in this department
  49.  
  50. 1) The font icon. This lets you select the font used for the front of the
  51. card.
  52.  
  53. 2) The text icon. This lets you enter the text for the front of the card.
  54. You also get a spelling list. You can type in your own text, or click on
  55. words in the spelling list.

  57. 3) The print icon.  This lets you choose which size of card you want to
  58. print. You can't print in this demo version, but there should be example
  59. printouts with this demo.

  61. 4) The borders icon. This lets you choose a border.
  62.  
  63. 5) The pictures icon. This lets you choose a picture for the front of the
  64. card.

  93. 1) The row icon. Click on this to select which of the three rows of stamps
  94. you want to change.

  96. 2) The price icon. This lets you choose the price of the stamps on the
  97. current row.

  101. 4) The pictures icon. This lets you choose the picture for the current row
  102. of stamps.
