See if you can do these questions. 1 Can you move the counters so the frogs swap places in 15 moves? Keep a record of your moves. 2 Now try for other numbers of frogs. (There will always be the same number of red and blue counters. You will always start with one more sqaure than counters. The space will always be in the middle.) Make a record of anything you find out and your results. 3 Try and work out how many moves it would take for: (a) 10 red and 10 blue counters (b) 20 blue and 20 red counters (c) 98 blue and 98 red counters to change places.
