This file contains some very important information about the application

IMPORTANT!
*****************************************************************************
* The programmer of the application !Clone (Matt Browne) cannot accept any *
* responsibility for the misuse of the program in any way, ie. the illegal *
* copying of copyrighted data, eg. making backups of games and distributing *
* them. The programmer also cannot accept responsibility for the loss of *
* data due to the misuse of the application. *
*****************************************************************************
Please note that because of the way that !Clone works, a disc doctor will not
be able to retrieve lost data from a destination disc. This is because !Clone
breaks protection designed not to be able to be copied, ie. it makes an
exact clone of the disc. All of the disc is copied, even the "free space",
which often contains data that has secretly been put there.
For more information about !Clone, including instructions and advice, please
see the application !Help, which can be run by choosing "Help" in the filer
menu over the !Clone icon. Alternatively, it may be directly run by clicking
on its icon in the !Clone directory.
Do you have any queries, comments, or complaints about !Clone? If so, please
could you write to the following address:
No Matt Browne,
Phone 5 Inglefield,
Calls Potters Bar,
Please Herts.
!!! EN6 1HD.
Please send a disc if it is at all relevant. SAE's only, please! Even if you
haven't got anything to say, please write to me anyway, because it would be
nice to get some indication to how many people actually have copies of my
program! (Also, I like getting the post!)
Thanks for reading this,
Matt Browne (19th January 1993).
