  7. KleinFS is a program which allows you to fit more and larger files onto
  8. your discs. Whatever the type of disc you are using, be it an IDE hard disc 
  9. or a 3.5" floppy disc, if your computer can read the disc, KFS can use it.

  11. KleinFS acts as a complete filing system, like the Acorn ADFS or the RAM
  12. disc. This allows it to take your files and squash them while they are
  13. being saved to disc, and also to expand them to their original form when
  14. they are loaded into memory. As such, squashed files can be used in the 
  15. Desktop in exactly the same way as you would normal files, for example by
  16. dragging them into Edit or Draw, or between directory displays.

  18. KleinFS reads and produces files which are fully compatible with Acorn's
  19. standard Squash application, supplied on the Risc OS 3 Applications disc.
  20. In this way, KleinFS can be read by anyone who has Risc Os 3, unlike
  21. other systems which explicitly require the application itself.
