  6. This little program adds a bit of brightness to the desktop and puts it in 
  7. 3D. It may not work properly with RISC OS 2. The sprites are all multi-scan
  8. so they will look a little strange (awful!) in normal modes but we couldn't
  9. be bothered to redesign all the sprites with rectangular pixels.If you need
  10. a lot of memory after running !NewIcons3 I suggest you press <Ctrl+Break>
  11. (Saving your work first of course!) and then reload the program/s you were
  12. using. The 3 in the title refers to RISC OS 3 not version 3. Please send me
  13. any sprites you make up and I will send you back um...er... the disc you 
  14. sent and a letter of thanks (I would send you my demo disc or some other 
  15. software I have written but as yet I haven't written anything else!). Many
  16. thanks to James Chesher for creating about half of the sprites. If you want
  17. the back tile to be automatically loaded to the pinboard, load the !Run 
  18. file into !Edit and change:
  19.      |Run <NewIcons$Dir>.Pinboard

  21.      Run <NewIcons$Dir>.Pinboard

  41. For those of you who might want to make some more sprites, I have included 
  42. some ecf's for your use. They are different shades of green for use in making
  43. things with acorns in them. Also the file 'Backtile' can be replaced with 
  44. something else to go on the backdrop. I have included some nice Backtiles for
  45. you to experiment with.
