  2.  What you have here, as version 1.13, is the
  3.  FreeWare version of !SmartCD. This can be freely
  4.  distributed and should not have cost you anything. 
  5.  We very much hope that this program is useful to
  6.  you in its own right, and may be all you'll ever
  7.  need. But...

  13.  There is an *EVEN BETTER* version of SmartCD,
  14.  with the following features (and more):
  15.  
  16.   * "Tape Inlay" facilities, which help you make
  17.     cassette inlays if you're recording, and list
  18.     the tracks for you, as well as suggesting the
  19.     order of tracks if they don't fit on easily;
  20.  
  21.   * "Memory" functions which allow tracks to be
  22.     played in any order, or randomly, or repeated,
  23.     etc., and your favourite play list is *saved*
  24.     with the CD info file;
  25.  
  26.   * Looped play of any audio section can be set up
  27.     by clicking once to begin and once more to end,
  28.     (as well as normal fast-forward & rewind);
  29.  
  30.   * Auto-play option - this automatically plays a
  31.     disc when inserted, using your chosen track
  32.     sequence if you like, and ejects the disc at
  33.     the end, so you need never open the panel;
  34.  
  35.   * Any number of CDs can be catalogued, and this
  36.     is done more efficiently, taking less space;
  37.  
  38.   * Database functions are provided for searching
  39.     your CD info files for key words or phrases;
  40.  
  41.   * Can there be more? Yes! Check it out!

  43.  This enhanced version comes in the form of two
  44.  applications, !SmallCD and !SmartCD+. The former
  45.  is a memory-saving simple version, and the latter
  46.  is the bells-and-whistles 'all features' version.
  47.  There is also a special utility to convert
  48.  your old-style CD listings (i.e. those from the
  49.  FreeWare versions) to the new format.

  51.  The new applications are supplied together on
  52.  one disc, which will be available around July '94
  53.  from "The ARM Club". The price is not yet fixed
  54.  but *will* be sensible.
