  5. For those of you who require additional disc utilities (such as a powerful
  6. disc sector editor and file recovery), DISC COMMANDER is now available.

  8. Disc Commander is the full application from which !VZap's virus detection
  9. capabilities come from. It's disc editor is one of the most powerful ones
  10. available for the Archimedes, working with any disc format the Archimedes
  11. hardware is capable of reading. In addition to repairing corrupted sectors
  12. and recovering deleted files, it is even capable of editing sector ID
  13. values and low level disc parameters.

  15. Disc Commander can also backup protected discs, set filetypes (useful for
  16. RISC OS 2 users), guess filetypes and scramble discs using a chosen password.

  18. Disc Commander is also accompanied by a comprehensive 40 page manual.

  32. Disc Commander is now fully compatible with the new Filecore supplied with
  33. the new RISC PCs. It will allow you to edit hard drives over 512Mb, which
  34. some disc editors don't. If you have a new RISC PC and a hard drive of more
  35. than 512Mb, try reading any track greater than 1041 to see if your current
  36. disc editor copes.
