  2.   Further Installation notes

  4.   Unfortunatly, the Installer-script is not able to the steps which are
  5.   necessary to integrate the NetInput-service in the AmiTCP/IP environment.
  6.   The following installation steps are left to be done by you:

  8.   On both the server and the client systems, load the file
  9.   AMITCP:db/services into a text editor and add the following line:

  11.       amiganetinput  2503/udp
  12.  
  13.   On the system you intend to remote control, load the file
  14.   AMITCP:db/inetd.conf into a text editor. Now add the following
  15.   line:

  17.       amiganetinput dgram udp wait/priority=20/stack=4096 root ...
  18.            ... AMITCP:serv/netinputd netinputd
  19.  
  20.   Note that the elipsis (...) at the end (and the beginning, respectively) of
  21.   the above lines should not be typed in; you should rather
  22.   concatenate both lines to a single (but long) one when you enter them in
  23.   the file "inetd.conf".

  25.   You should re-start AmiTCP/IP to propagate all changes to the corresponding
  26.   networking programs.

  30.   installation.
