  6. ExtraInfo  is  a replacement for the Workbench "Information" function,
  7. and  adds  a  great deal of functionality on top. I wrote it because I
  8. was  sick  of  squinting at that tiny topaz-8 font in a window without
  9. keyboard  shortcuts  that  is Commodore's original offering. ExtraInfo
  10. does *not* require OS3 like all the others, since I'm still getting by
  11. with  OS2. That does mean, however, that it doesn't patch the WBInfo()
  12. library function: you have to run it like a normal program.

  14. ExtraInfo  uses  the  excellent  BGUI  library by Jan van den Baard to
  15. provide font-sensitive, keyboard-controllable gadgets in a  resizeable
  16. window. You'll find the full package on AmiNet in directory dev/gui.
