  4. This is the root directory of the file tree that contains tools, libraries,
  5. documentation, and other useful material that is updated with each CD
  6. release.  There are three other plain text files here that are automatically
  7. generated from the product info files in this tree.

  9. For a quick overview of this material, see the INDEX file, which contains a
  10. one-line entry for each program, including the name of the program, version
  11. number, and short description.
  12.  
  13. To quickly locate material for which you know the name, see the LOCATE file.
  14. The LOCATE file is the same as the INDEX file, except instead of having a
  15. short description, it includes the full path to the material you wish to
  16. locate.

  18. If you wish to get detailed information about a particular program, see the
  19. CONTENTS file, which is automatically generated from the product info files
  20. and contains most of the interesting information about each program.
