  6. Catalog Disks
  7.  
  8.     Because the current library has grown so large, it is no longer cost
  9.     effective to distribute a printed catalog.  Therefore, the catalog
  10.     disks replace the printed catalog, and will be updated at each new
  11.     release of disks to reflect the current state of the library.  It
  12.     currently takes two disks to hold a complete catalog.

  16.     There is no duplication fee for the catalog disks.  To receive the
  17.     latest available catalog at any time, simply return the original 
  18.     disks (or two blank disks), along with $1 for postage and mailer to:

  26.     Optionally, you can send $3 for the catalog and I will supply the

  30. The CATFISH Cross-Referenced Catalog Listing
  31.  
  32.     A complete catalog that completely cross-references the entire
  33.     library by both file name and by subject area is now available
  34.     on one disk from the AMIGA Science and Technology Users' Group
  35.     (ASCITEC) for $10.00.  Another disk is also included that lists
  36.         all of the contents files (in blocks of 25) for all of the Fred
  37.         Fish disks available.  Both disks are included for $10.00.

  39.     The CATFISH disk is made available with the explicit agreement
  40.     that it not be copied for distribution or placed on any bulletin
  41.     board.  Please support these policies if you appreciate our efforts.

  43.     The printed three-hole punch printed catalog is no longer available.
  44.     All files on the disk are easily printed via mouse point/click
  45.     options.

  47.     The files available on this catalog disk include:

  49.        A subject category sorted file name cross-reference listing
  50.        based on a three page 18 point major subject category
  51.        outline with disk numbers given for each file.
  52.        Currently contains 149 total categories.
  53.        Currently 4,307 lines, or about 66 pages when printed.

  55.        An alphabetically sorted file name cross-reference listing
  56.        with disk numbers given for each file.  Duplicate
  57.        file names are sorted with the most recent listed first.
  58.        Currently 3,851 lines, or about 58 pages when printed.

  60.        Complete listings of all of the disks and file descriptions
  61.        (README and CONTENTS files).  These are stored in blocks of
  62.        25 CONTENTS files per block for ease of use and display.
  63.  
  64.        CLI notes for accessing any public domain disk file for
  65.        reading, copying, and execution of files on the disks.
  66.  
  67.     Future upgrades are easily obtained by mail at the same price.

  69.     All of the files are stored in power packed format and are transparent
  70.     to the user.  No additional files are necessary.  Just double-click
  71.     the icons to obtain the full listings on the screen.  It also
  72.     includes full pattern search requestors and full file and screen-only
  73.     printing options.  Uses FullView (included) for reading the files.

  75.     Also:  Files explicitly requiring WorkBench 2.X only have been
  76.     identified by adding the suffix ":" at the end of their file names
  77.     in all of the above listings.
