  1. This is disk 943 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. Clock        A simple Clock program but with the handy feature that you can
  6.         "snapshot" the clock to stay with any screen or it can be free
  7.         to pop to the frontmost screen automatically.  Up to 4 alarm
  8.         times can be set, which can simply put up a requester or cause
  9.         some program to run in background.  Hourly chimes can also be
  10.         made to run a program (I.E. a sound sample player).  Uses
  11.         locale.library with OS2.1+.  Version 2.20, an update to
  12.         version 2.00 on disk number 869.  Binary only.

  15. IRMaster    A package for the substitution of remote controls by the
  16.         Amiga.  You can learn and send nearly any infra red command.
  17.         That means you can control e.g. your tv set from the workbench.
  18.         With an editor you can create remote controls and with a
  19.         runner you can use them on your wb.
  20.         Version 1.0, binary only.

  23. JIStoJi        A program to read and print Japanese electronic text.  JIStoJi
  24.         automatically identifies electronic texts written in Old-JIS,
  25.         New-JIS, Shift-JIS, or EUC-JIS (as well as, of course, ASCII)
  26.         and displays them on screen, or prints them to dot-matix
  27.         printers.  Version 1.5, binary only.

  30. MCMaster    Another music cassette cover printing utility which should
  31.         work together with any printer that supports pica and fine.
  32.         Other features are a search function and a list function which
  33.         allow you to put, for example, all the song names in a list
  34.         gadget to scroll around.  Requires Kickstart >2.04!  Version
  35.         1.2, an update to version 1.1 on disk 685.  Binary only.

  38. Mkfont        Converts standard Amiga fonts into softfonts for the Hewlett
  39.         Packard II (compatible) laser printers.  It is entirely
  40.         written in assembly and is quite fast.  It can double the
  41.         softfonts in size and smooth's them automatically.  Version
  42.         1.0, binary only, freeware,  Runs from CLI only.

  45. WBflash        A small program that nicely flashes (or color-cycles) the
  46.         active window or Workbench background.  With some simple
  47.         gadget clicks you can generate and save your own custom
  48.         flash-patterns.  Written in assembler.  Includes both English
  49.         and Swedish versions.  Requires OS2.0+.  Version 1.12, binary
  50.         only.
