  1. This is disk 945 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.

  5. EmacsStarter    A good Emacs starter.  With it you can load files into a
  6.         running Emacs.  Has an option to use a public screen (requires
  7.         "ScreenManager"), full WB support, double-click icons into a
  8.         running Emacs, new icon creating scheme, use different icons
  9.         depending on what type of file you are editing, sticky flag,
  10.         the script doesn't terminate until the requested buffers are
  11.         terminated.  Release 1, includes ARexx and C source.

  14. IFFConvert    A program to convert the different compression methods of IFF
  15.         ILBM files.  It supports the normal compression, a new comp-
  16.         ression method that compresses column by column instead of
  17.         row by row, and uncompressed files.  Version 1.12, an update
  18.         to version 1.11 on disk number 699, includes source.

  21. MineRunner    A freeware game like Lode Runner, but with more features.
  22.         Supports the 4 player adapter for the parallel port, uses
  23.         soft stereo where possible, doesn't stop multitasking and
  24.         saves highscores to disk.  Version 1.0, binary only.

  27. Orm        An improved version of PD "Snake" game on disk number 810 by
  28.         Michael Warner.  You control an "orm" (Danish for worm or
  29.         snake), living in a small window on the default public screen,
  30.         which grows by eating "frogs" and avoiding obstacles.  This
  31.         version tries to be smart about its window borders and the
  32.         screen mode (Interlace, Superhires, etc.).  Supports locale
  33.         library if present.  English, German, Italian, and Swedish
  34.         catalogs are supplied.  Default language is Danish.  Includes
  35.         the catalog description file and full DICE and SAS/C (Lattice)
  36.         compatible source.  Version 1.4,  Public Domain.  Requires
  37.                 AmigaDOS 2.04 or higher.

  40. PrtSc        Have you ever noticed that there is a PrtSc-key on the numeric
  41.         keypad?  This program makes it work!  By pressing the PrtSc
  42.         key on your keypad, you get a screen dump to your printer.
  43.         Version 1.52, an update to version 1.08 on disk number 897.

  47. Reminder    A utility to remind you about events.  It consists of an event
  48.         editor and a small program that is put in your WBStartup (or
  49.         run from S:user-startup).  Every time you boot your machine,
  50.         this program checks the event database and puts up a requester
  51.         (and optionally calls an ARexx script) if there are events
  52.         that you need to be reminded about.  Version 1.20, freeware,
  53.         C source included for DICE and SAS6.x.
