  5. \z4\c7DESCRIPTION:\q1  EXCELSIOR! is broken up into four (4) different types
  6.               of menus:
  7.  
  8.               MAIN:   This is the first menu you come to everytime
  9.                       you log on.  This is the only menu that lets
  10.                       you move to ANY/ALL other menus.
  11.  
  12.               MBASE/FBASE:  This is where the messages and files are
  13.                             stored.  These areas can range from a
  14.                             wide variety of different topics and
  15.                             formats.  Areas that have <DIR> before
  16.                             their title means that they are
  17.                             directories.  These areas only contain
  18.                             other areas, no messages or files are
  19.                             stored here.   Areas that have <UNET>
  20.                             before their title means that they are
  21.                             USENET areas.   Areas that have <FIDO>
  22.                             before their title means that they are
  23.                             FIDO areas.

  25.               TBASE/DOORS/NEWS:  These areas are identical in command
  26.                                  availability, but are three 
  27.                                  seperate areas with different
  28.                                  options.

  30.               CONFERENCE:  This is where users can communicate with
  31.                            other users on the system, or on different
  32.                            systems.  Areas are broken up into "ROOMS".
  33.                            Each room can be limited just like message/
  34.                            file areas.
