  1. -------- Note to users upgrading to HomeBudget v1.3 ---------

  3. Users of HomeBudgetv1.21 and prior: This latest version ofHomeBudget 
  4. creates different data files than those in previos versions. This new data
  5. file incorporates the new "Auto Entry" feature and the new Misc Accounts
  6. entries (see the manual for more information on these features).  Note that
  7. the new data file is not compatable with older versions.  This current
  8. version of HomeBudget will read data files made with any older version and
  9. automaticly update them to the new version when you save them again. Also,
  10. version 1.3 now includes a new program to check for auto-entries during
  11. your startup-sequence. Use the INSTALL program to put this file in your c:
  12. directory.  See the manual for more information on Auto-Entries, Misc
  13. Accounts, and the use of the program AutoBudget.

  15. Users of HomeBudget v1.2 and prior: This version uses a new font style 
  16. called "FLOW".  You will need to re-run the Install script included in
  17. this archive/disk.  Also, a new menu item "Make Backup" has been added.
  18. Normally this item is on by default, but older versions of HomeBudget will 
  19. not have this one set. Check your data files and set this item on if you 
  20. want.

  22. Users of HomeBudget v1.11 and prior: Check the Prefs Menu to insure that 
  23. all of the options that you want on are set to on. Most notably, check the
  24. "Form Feeds" menu option, as it will default to OFF on data files saved 
  25. with earlier versions of HomeBudget.
