  1. Short: New Disk EDitor with many features

  6.      This disk editor (nickname 'DED') allows you to:
  7.  
  8.    - Edit sectors on disk in binary form or in DOS structures (including
  9.      bitmap)
  10.    - Find file of FFS datablock
  11.    - Scan for DOS structure references to any block
  12.    - Edit rigid disk blocks in structure form
  13.    - Export or import bytes from/to disk
  14.    - All sectors are not written to the disk, but they are left in memory
  15.      until you ask DED to write them.  But if you change anything,
  16.      ALL functions will access modified sectors in memory and not the original
  17.      ones on the disk - you may try to do anything without risking integrity of
  18.      your disk.
  19.    - Protection option - no sector can be formatted or written to the disk
  20.    - All menuitems have help
  21.    - Built-in calculator, which you can use in every number gadget

  24.      It was written to be used mostly to repairing of disks, on which failed
  25. repairing programs, or for other "fine" work on disk especially on DOS
  26. structures.  But you can also use it as ordinary binary disk editor.
