- Revision History
- ================
-
- Version 1.2: 84852 bytes Original Release July 1990
-
- Version 1.4: 91588 bytes Released August 1991
-
- - Fixed about 100 bugs. (Not really bugs, just 'annoying features').
- - Accuracy has been greatly enhanced.
- - Implemented mouse support, where able.
- - Added the ARP requester; no more mis-spelled filenames.
- - The final payment line of Fixed Loan calculations is now more
- accurate, as the last months interest is now taken into account.
- - A loan started in a leap-year, after February 29th, would be in
- error by one day. Now corrected.
- - No longer necessary to press a key after each screenful of data;
- now just press 'F' instead.
- - Interest Compound Period input 'intuitionized'.
-
- Version 1.5: 93420 bytes Released October 1991
-
- - Now saves .datavar files for Fixed loans, so that they may be edited
- using Menu item 3.
-
- Version 2.0: 96600 bytes Released January 1994
-
- - Now using MuchMore (by Fridtjof Seibert) for viewing and printing
- of data files. This is far superior to the previous method.
- - Negative Lump Sum Payments are now supported, in case you want to
- add to the balance during the life of the loan.
- - If a payment was made to an Open Loan in the second half of a year
- before a leap-year, and the next payment was made on February 29th
- of the leap-year, the program would report that there were only
- 28 days in that February. This has been corrected.
- - Made some changes to the ".datavar" file format, which makes V2.0
- data files incompatible with those created with previous versions
- of LoanCalc.
- - The "topaz8" font is now specifically loaded. This will prevent
- unwanted screen scrolling if a larger font is the default.
- - Some minor changes to make the program a little more user-friendly,
- and to look a bit better.
-
-
-
- I have had no help in the testing of this program, which makes it very
- easy to miss things. If you find something that does not work
- properly, please let me know.
