  3. Well,   I  tire  of  this  project.   So  I'm  unleashing  it  upon  the
  4. unsuspecting  Amiga  community.   Take it as a god-send wonder, or as an
  5. example for the value of the DELETE command.  I made this program to fit
  6. my  taste.   It may also be yours, or it may be the ugliest thing you've
  7. ever seen.  I don't really care at this point.
  8.  
  9. Just some thing's I will mention to make using this monster a bit
  10. easier.
  11.  
  12. When  you  select "SAVE" or "Save Prefs", this will also save the window
  13. positions  and  sizes.   Then,  next  time  you  start Iconian, your new
  14. positions  will  be used instead of the NTSC 640x200 defaults.  This may
  15. be  a  pain,  though,  if  you  are  constantly  changing  your  Iconian
  16. preferences...

  18. Also, the preference window doesn't contain any documentation.
  19.  
  20. Remap  Brushes:  If ON, a FindColor will be used to determine pen color.
  21. This should be ON for about 99% of all cases.
  22.  
  23. Immediate  draw:   If  this  is  ON,  then as soon as you click inside a
  24. window,  you  will  start drawing.  This is useful if you are drawing in
  25. both the magnified window and the viewer windows.  If OFF, then you must
  26. first activate the window, then click a second time to start drawing.

  28. Use  crosshairs:  This is an easy one.  Turn it off if you don't like my
  29. crosshair sprite.
  30.  
  31. Save  Eight:   This forces all saved icons to eight planes.  This is the
  32. way  original  MagicWB  icons  are  saved.  They are usually bigger than
  33. neccessary, due to extra plane info.  But, they are able to be displayed
  34. correctly  under  different screen depths.  Remember WorkBench 3.0 has a
  35. funny way of determining palette colors and pens...
  36.  
  37. Relative  Coords:   This  gadget is not connected, so don't expect it to
  38. work.
  39.  
  40. Visible  Grid:  This will draw lines between the magnified pixels.  Only
  41. works at higher magnifications.  Be forewared that this is SLOW.  Use at
  42. will.
  43.  
  44. Mag Draw Only:  This means you will unable to draw within the viewer
  45. windows.

  47. Obey Locks:  Turning this OFF will allow you to edit ANY RGB values on
  48. the public screen.  Only use this if you know what you are doing!
  49.  
  50. Strip Planes:  This overrides Save Eight.  If ON, Iconian will search
  51. for the highest used color in the icon, and strip any extra planes.
  52.  
  53. Don't Lend:  Left over from previous versions, and does NOTHING.

  56. The 't' key will bring up the "enter text" window.
  57. Pressing the 'T' key will bring up the font requester.
  58. Pressing the RETURN key will change from the current brush to text mode.
  59. Pressing  'B'  will  recall  the  last  cut brush after selecting "enter
  60.   text".

  64. To  receive  a  version  without  the  annoying requesters,  (Or for any
  65. latest  version I may have done.) send me a SASE envelope, a blank disk,
  66. and 10$ (U.S.).
