  16.         It may happen you need to rename several files at once. If you add a
  17.         suffix or a prefix, the common 'rename' command is enough. But if you
  18.         want to replace a common pattern into a new one (even remove a part of
  19.         the filename), you won't be able to do it easily with just the rename
  20.         command. you can use a shell script, but you may not have all the
  21.         command necessary to do this job. 
  22.         Aren replaces the first occurence of 'oldpattern' with 'newpattern' by
  23.         renaming the files.

  28.         Ignore the case of letters in making comparisons. Default is case
  29.         sensitive. Case sensitive may help you to locate accurately the
  30.         beginning of the pattern to replace.
