  1. This directory contains the Bison parser generator.

  3. See the file INSTALL for compilation and installation instructions.

  5. It was once true that, when installing Bison on Sequent (or Pyramid?)
  6. systems, you had to be in the Berkeley universe.  This may no longer
  7. be true; we have no way to tell.
  8.  
  9. On VMS, you will probably have to create Makefile from Makefile.in by
  10. hand.  Remember to do `SET COMMAND BISON' to install the data in
  11. `BISON.CLD'.

  13. Send bug reports to bug-gnu-utils@prep.ai.mit.edu.  Please include the
  14. version number from `bison --version', and a complete, self-contained
  15. test case in each bug report.
