  14.        This  manual  page  documents  the  GNU  version of rrmmddiirr.
  15.        rrmmddiirr removes each given empty  directory.   If  any  non-
  16.        option argument does not refer to an existing empty direc-
  17.        tory, it is an error.

  21.               Remove any parent directories that  are  explicitly
  22.               mentioned  in  an  argument,  if  they become empty
