  6. Welcome  to  the Art Department Professional (ADPro) 2.5 preview pack.
  7. This archive contains the following:

  10.     This  file,  which describes the contents of the preview pack,
  11.     and some general information about ADPro 2.5.

  13. ADPro25PressRelease.txt
  14.     The ADPro 2.5 press release.
  15.  
  16. ADPro25Main.ilbm
  17.     A  screen  shot  of  ADPro 2.5 running on a 16 color Workbench
  18.     screen.   ADPro  is  in  its  Button  interface mode, with the
  19.     floating ("tear-off") Loaders and Operators list windows open.
  20.     Rendering   is  to  a  draggable,  scrollable  window  on  the
  21.     Workbench screen.  The Display menu's commands are shown.

  23. ADPro25FRED.ilbm
  24.     ADPro  running  on  the  FRED  public  screen; notice ADPro in
  25.     minimized mode on FRED's screen title bar.  FRED is processing
  26.     a  sequence of images, performing the listed operations on it.
  27.     At  this  point, the RenderAsDefined.fred script is asking for
  28.     the render mode to use.  The script is using the unique screen
  29.     mode  requester  in ADPro to query the user for a render mode.

  31.     ADPro's  screen  mode  requester  also lists display modes for
  32.     EGS,  FireCracker 24, OpalVision, Picasso, Retina, and windows
  33.     on  currently  open  public screens in the same form as normal
  34.     Amiga display database modes.

  36. ADPro25Scale.ilbm
  37.     ADPro (in List interface mode, with the User Commands tear-off
  38.     open)   running   on   a   custom   (public)  screen  using  a
  39.     proportional  font.   The revised Scale operator (also showing
  40.     the font-sensitivity new to ADPro 2.5) is open.

  42.     Notice  how  you  can  now  enter  a  pixel  aspect, switch to
  43.     specific  proportions  with  the  50%,  100%,  and 200% preset
  44.     buttons,  and  perform  enlargement  and reduction at the same
  45.     time.   The  new  Lock Aspect checkbox allows you to lock to a
  46.     specific  pixel  aspect,  change  one  dimension, and have the
  47.     other  dimension  automatically  update to preserve the locked
  48.     aspect.

  50. ADPro25Comp.ilbm
  51.     ADPro's  new compositing control screen, a visual screen whose
  52.     screen  mode  (along  with  the  other  visual modules' screen
  53.     modes)  can  be  customized.   Notice that transparency can be
  54.     selected  as  a range of RGB colors, in addition to a specific
  55.     color.   Also  notice  the  centralized alpha channel blending
  56.     controls.
