  1.                     Mand2000 iteration files and ADPro
  2.  
  3.      Mand2000  has  the  unique ability to write out the raw iteration
  4. values it calculates to an IFF file where they can be read in by other
  5. programs.    The  first  program  to  make  use  of  that  feature  is
  6. Fractal2000,  a  fractal  loader  for  ADPro.   This  loader  lets you
  7. translate  these  iteration  files into 24 bit pictures.  You can then
  8. use  the  full  power of ADPro's image processing abilities to convert
  9. these  into  any  image  format  you want, or display them on a 24 bit
  10. graphics board.

  12.      The  `.frac' files were saved from Mand2000 using the `Iterations
  13. and  Location'  option.   They  were  then loaded into ADPro as 24 bit
  14. images, converted to HAM and saved out to the `.ham' files.

  16.      These  files  were mostly done at NTSC resolutions to ensure that
  17. everyone  who  has  an  Amiga  can  display them.  However Mand2000 is
  18. certainly  not  restricted  to  working at NTSC resolutions.  Mand2000
  19. supports  all  Amiga  resolutions,  including AGA screen modes and RTG
  20. screen  modes  on  third  party  graphics boards.  So far Mand2000 has
  21. proved compatible with the Picasso, Retina, EGS and Piccolo boards and
  22. has  proved  incompatible  with  none  of the RTG boards.  The largest
  23. images we have calculated with Mand2000 were 4000 by 3500 pixels.

  26. registered users of Mand2000.

  31.      These  pictures  may be freely distributed on a non-profit basis,
  32. as  long  as  this  complete  text  file  is distributed with it.  The
  33. pictures  may  be  used  as  long  as  full  credit is given to Cygnus
  34. Software and Mand2000.

  36.      The  demo  version of Mand2000 only allows saving of small images
  37. and  does not allow saving of iteration information.  The full version
  38. of  Mand2000,  with  no  image size restrictions, full online help and
  39. much, much more, is available from Cygnus Software or you can order it
