  3. This is disk 600 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  4. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  7. Env        A user friendly tool to edit your "environments".  You can
  8.         change, add, copy, rename and delete them with an intuition
  9.         GUI, instead of using DOS SetEnv/GetEnv.  Features include
  10.         keyboard shortcuts, font-sensitive windows, and shell command
  11.         line support.  Version 2.08, binary only.

  14. Memcheck    An antivirus package designed to be used for detection and
  15.         analysis of new and old viruses.  It includes a very powerful
  16.         bootblock detector, a CLI detector and a Vectors program.
  17.         The programs check for any virus in RAM and are able to kill
  18.         all viruses in RAM.  All libraries, devices, interrupts,
  19.         reset vectors, etc are completely checked by the programs.
  20.         This is version 5.0, binary only.  Source code is available
  21.         from the author.

  24. Multi_Player    A music player that loads and plays a large variety of the
  25.         "tracker" type sound modules.  With an intuition interface,
  26.         allows you to load formats like Intuitracker, NoisePlayer,
  27.         Soundtracker, FutureComposer and 7 others including power-
  28.         packed modules!  Includes many sample modules in several of
  29.         these formats.  This is version 1.5, an update to version
  30.         1.2 on disk 509.  Binary only.

  33. NCode        A fast MC68000/10/20/30 conditional macro assembler for the
  34.         Amiga.  Supports both the old and the new Motorola syntax for
  35.         operands and allows you to put standard parameters in an 
  36.         argument file.  NCode can be used for any of the four CPU's
  37.         and will check whether your code matches the specified target
  38.         CPU.  Version 1.2, binary only.

  41. Paragon        A two player game where the object is to build a given crown
  42.         (a pattern of 5 stones) on the playboard.  Includes source in

  57. APipe        An "Amiga pipe" device.  If opened for read, it will run the
  58.         file name as an Amiga CLI command, with the output going to
  59.         the opening process.  If opened for output, it will run the
  60.         file name as an Amiga CLI command, with output to the opened
  61.         file sent to the command as input.

  64. Intuisup    A shared library with support routines for using texts, menus,
  65.         borders, gadgets, requesters, and more, under AmigaDOS 1.3.
  66.         Includes a template editor and source to library and test
  67.         programs.  This is version 3.0, an update to version 2.0 on
  68.         disk 562.

  71. PP        Patches AmigaDOS and makes decrunching of powerpacked files
  72.         completely transparent to any program attempting to read
  73.         such files.  This means that any program may work directly 
  74.         on powerpacked datafiles, without any need to decrunch these
  75.         first with PowerPacker.  A must for Powerpacker fans.  This
  76.         is version 1.4, an update to version 1.3 on disk 542.  Full
  77.         source is included.

  86. JM        Job Manager is a utility which extends the AmigaDos multi-
  87.         tasking environment by providing features such as: allocation
  88.         of CPU cycles in any ratio to multiple CPU bound processes,
  89.         default task priorities based on task name, task logging,
  90.         system uptime reports, task CPU use and CPU % reports, task
  91.         invocation times, and more.  JM has very little impact on the
  92.         system itself.  Requires AmigaDOS 2.04 or later.  Includes
  93.         68000/20 and 68030/40 versions.  Version 1.0, binary only.

  96. MathsAdv    A simple game where you, the young adventurer, must try to
  97.         escape the king's Maths Adventure.  To do this you must pass
  98.         through a series of rooms.  In each room you are given a
  99.         math problem to solve, after which you can proceed to the
  100.         next room if you answer correctly.  The problems become more
  101.         involved and more difficult in each room.  Includes source.

  104. MBPress        A command that will detect which mouse buttons (including
  105.         middle) are currently being pressed.  The result can then be
  106.         used to decide a course of action in a script file.  Handy

  110. PlotLib        Another function plotter library with different display
  111.         options in 2D, 3D or Niveau.  Easy to use functions allow

  123. DungeonMap    A little tool that creates maps of dungeons (and eventually
  124.         towns) which can be used by a Dungeon Master (DM's) for use in
  125.         a Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) game.  These maps can be saved,
  126.         edited, and printed.  This is version 1.0.  Binary only.

  129. DynaCADD    Part 1 of a four part demo distribution of DynaCADD from Ditek
  130.         International.  DynaCADD is a professional 2D and 3D CAD pack-
  131.         age.  This demo is fully functional except for disabled save
  132.         and export functions.  DynaCADD requires at minimum an Amiga
  133.         with 1Mb of RAM and a hard drive, or two floppy drives.  A de-
  134.         interlacer of some kind is highly recommended.  This disk con-
  135.         tains all the files necessary to recreate the DynaCADD demo
  136.         disk number 1.  The files for demo disk number 2 can be found
  137.         on library disk number 604 and the files for demo disks 3 and
  138.         4 can be found on library disk number 605.  This is version
  139.         2.04, an update to version 1.84 on disks 434 and 435, and now
  140.         includes both 68000 and 68020/030 versions.  Binary only.

  143. ICONtrol    An easy to use CLI command that gives you control over Work-
  144.         bench icons.  It's main purpose is to update the look of your
  145.         icons for AmigaDOS 2.0, which can be done by swapping the
  146.         colors in an icon or giving new images to them.  Moreover, it
  147.         can be used to clear an icon's absolute position in a drawer
  148.         or on Workbench.  So it is also a helpful tool if you are not
  149.         yet using AmigaDOS 2.0.  Version 1.0, binary only.

  152. Notify        A suite of Rexx programs that can be used to issue messages or
  153.         run commands automatically on certain days and/or at certain
  154.         times of day.  Facilities are provided for the adding, editing
  155.         and deleting of messages, and for displaying the times and

  157.         enable the time to be announced at regular intervals.  Version
  158.         1.01.
