  1. To make the program "runnable" from the distribution directory, I added 
  2. a line to the startup script file to include this directory in the path.
  3. The authors original startup script file has been preserved in "CPump.orig"
  4.  
  5. To make the program "useful", you will likely need to customize the script
  6. file for your own particular system.
