  2.                     Future plans for the MUI system
  3. ------------------------------------------------------------------------

  5. Although  MUI  currently  allows  creation  of  really  big  and complex
  6. applications, it is of course not finished yet. There are lots of things
  7. that  could  and  that  will be implemented following releases. Here are
  8. some of my major plans for future development:
  9.  
  10. - Splitting of muimaster.library in a basic library and a fancy feature
  11.   library. Users with low memory or slow machines might decide to leave
  12.   out this fancy library and only use the basic MUI.
  13.  
  14. - Support for drag and drop objects.
  15.  
  16. - A multiline edit gadget with some basic editing capabilities.
  17.  
  18. - More classes: date class, time class, calendar class, floating point
  19.                 class, etc.
  20.  
  21. These few topics were only a small piece of my 'todo' file. In fact, the
  22. list  is  a  lot  bigger  and grows every day due to the large amount of
  23. suggestions  I receive. The response is really enormous, I spend quite a
  24. lot  of  time  with answering e-mail every day. Please don't stop having
  25. good ideas, that's what a product like MUI needs!
